The Red Rattler Theatre is set to introduce 'Free The Friday,' a new monthly live music residency that showcases independent, genre-pushing artists. This exciting program invites upcoming trailblazers to take the stage and share their original, cutting-edge sounds with the community.
Through an open E.O.I the Red Rattler will curate a lineup of artists who are breaking new ground and pushing the boundaries of their respective genres. Whether you're an emerging, mid-career, or professional musician, we encourage you to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity to perform live

The Red Rattler is currently seeking artists interested in participating in ‘The Future Communities-’ Artist in Residence (AIR) program’. Four artists will be selected for the yearly program. The ethos of this artist in residency program is grounded in holding space, creating community, and offering resources for artists to generate bold and evocative new work that speaks to the now.
We are not looking for artists who fit a specific mold. Instead, we are looking for artists who are passionate about their ideas and driven to realise them. The Red Rattler is a multi-arts venue so we are interested in hearing from everyone.
Selected artists will get a 2 month residency. They will have access to their own private artist studio at the Red Rattler.
