Red Rattler Presents...
The Rat has become a creative playground for performers, musicians, artists, designers, multimedia makers, experimentalists, filmmakers, theorists, activists, collective organisers, and local punters. In addition to serving as a venue for hire, the Rat also plays a vital role in supporting and producing creativity from within its wall.
The Red Rattler Soudproofing Project!
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the soundproofing project at Red Rattler, a significant milestone made possible through the Acoustic Report from Marshall Day, funded by the Venues Unlocked Soundproofing grants. This initiative has proven to enhance sound mitigation within the venue.
The project plan has been thoroughly executed with the incredible team at Acoustica Australia. We are happy to report that we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from audiences, venue hirers, bands, and other stakeholders. The improvements have not only elevated the overall experience for attendees but have also ensured that our neighbors are less affected by noise levels.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Sound NSW Team for their support throughout this project. Their guidance and assistance was instrumental in bringing this vision to life, allowing us to create a more enjoyable environment for everyone involved. As we move forward, we remain committed to maintaining these improvements and continuing our mission of providing exceptional experiences at Red Rattler.
