We’re thrilled to kick off the third year of FUTURE COMMUNITIES, our innovative multi-arts program!

This initiative invites artists to participate in our Artist in Residence (AIR) program — a unique opportunity to explore community, creativity, and resource-sharing.
 
Over the next year, four selected artists will embark on a transformative journey, creating bold and thought-provoking work that reflects today’s societal challenges. Each artist will enjoy a two-month residency in their own studio space at the Red Rattler.
 
At the heart of our program is a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and innovation. Here’s what we aim to achieve:
· Explore groundbreaking concepts: Push artistic boundaries to tackle issues of race, class, sexuality, gender, ability, and age.
· Empower artists: Provide a platform for creatives from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to showcase their unique talents.
· Cultivate vibrant communities: Foster experiences that enhance social, mental, and economic well-being locally and globally.
· Champion artistic excellence: Recognise and support artists to ensure they receive the acclaim they deserve.
