Years in the making, we can’t wait to finally welcome hiphop icon and poetess, Bahamadia to Sydney. Straight out of West Philly’s Black Bottom, her genre-jumbling, paradigm-shifting 1996 classic ‘Kollage,’ lives on as a touchstone of the 90s hiphop scene while her unique sensibilities proved her capable of expanding beyond the confines of the genre. The magnitude and reach of her talent is undeniable, this is one for the old fans and the new ones to be made.
